Hellooo! Here's a preview of a work I'll be selling at this year's Art in the Park. Artinformal gallery was nice enough to invite me to be one of their exhibitors, yay! Our booth's theme will be Paper, so all our works are done on paper, made of paper or whatever that is mainly paper.

This is my first time joining this event so of course, I'm excited! :> Can't wait to see and meet other artists, as well as their works. Hellooo February! I've been very busy/lazy the past week so I didn't have any decent posts, even on tumblr.

Anyway, it's 5am here now, and I seriously can't think clearly. I'm having a hard time just coming up with sentences that'll make sense so I will just post photos I took from this week (I just recently joined Instagram and now I am hooked! Follow me if you have one, my name is choleil.)

Got my second and third tattoo! A cat on my right arm and lines on my back. The one on my back is actually a sun, since my name means sun in french. :)

I had two very important meetings. Cannot wait for the coming months, sooo excited :>

Also, my cat Pugo is in STATUS Magazine's Feb issue! Yes, I have a cool cat.

Draw What You Want

I have this new illustration series that I'm gonna be doing from now on. Basically, I draw anything that I want (how creative is my title, haha). Since I always find things around the Internet that I want (but probably won't own 95% of the things I'll be seeing), might as well just use them for practice! So yeah, here's my first entry.

I think this is a good practice, I get to draw new things and not just girls, hehe.

PS. I rarely wear heels, so this shoe is something.

You see what I did here? I drew a male figure. Yes, a male figure. Hahahaha very unusual for me if you know what I normally do. This is such a feat for me, lulz. (though I think they still look.. girly)

Anyway, yay for Paulinians!! Bia and I were batchmates back in highschool, go batch ‘06!! :D

Also, yesterday was my cat's first birthday! Happy Birthday my cuuuute baby Pugo :>

Ever since I saw Dakota's new Elle cover, I wanted to draw it so bad. I love Dakota Fanning, I've liked her since I saw her in 'I am Sam'. She was so cute and tiny back then. And now, ohmygod, she's gotten so beautiful; and let's not forget her sister Elle, who is equally pretty? How unfair is life. Hahahaha.

New Year New Blog!

Hello everyone! Since it's a new year, I've decided to create a new blog where I can place all my works and processes. I'll still be using my Tumblr though, I just think it's not nice to have long posts on it; Tumblr's more of a one-image-per-post kind of blog. But still, writing is very much not my thing and I don't really say a lot, so don't expect any lengthy text here, just pictures. :)
